DateX is designed as a standalone calculator and productivity utility. Specifically:

• No Calculation Data Collection: Any dates, birthdates, events, work history, or calculations you input into the app are processed purely on your local device. We never upload or synchronize your calculation data to our servers.
• No Location Tracking: The app does not request or track your GPS or fine/coarse location.
• No Contact or Media Access: The app does not access your contacts, SMS, photos, microphone, or device storage files.

3. Data Stored on Your Device (Local Storage)

To provide features like calculation history, custom holiday settings, and saved event countdowns, DateX saves this data locally on your device using Android Room Database and DataStore Preferences. This data stays entirely on your device and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the application or clear app data via Android Settings.

4. Internet & Network Usage

DateX functions 100% offline. If optional network-assisted features (such as checking for updates or optional AI suggestions) are invoked, only non-identifiable technical requests are transmitted securely via HTTPS.

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses minimal standard Google Android libraries (such as Jetpack Compose and Google Play Core). These libraries adhere to Google's standard security and privacy policies.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app does not address anyone under the age of 13 for data collection, nor does it collect personally identifiable information from children or any other users.

7. Permissions Requested

DateX requires minimal Android system permissions:

• android.permission.INTERNET: Used only for optional cloud assistance / standard Play Core components if enabled.

No sensitive runtime permissions (such as Camera, Microphone, Contacts, Location, or Storage) are requested.
